How Many Registers Per Sq Ft

calculating number of hvac registers Hello All,
Is there any dominion of thumb to calculate number of registers required for a room based on rooms size. Will it also depend on the duct size?
In my house which is being constructed - two rooms with 14'half dozen" x 12'6" and 23'6" x 11' dimensions accept 2 registers each. Bigger room (two/3rd bigger than the other) has registers at each end of the room (longer side) - one is at 3' and some other is at 1'half-dozen" from the wall. Then, my concern is near the middle expanse of the room.
Architect has a model house with same programme, that has three registers in the bigger room. And contractor installed 2 registers in other houses too. I think it will not be sufficient.
They are maxim they practise not have a bluish print for this. They are saying HVAC contractor is desinging and installation varies for each house.
What are your opinions?
Any help is appreciated.

number of outlets depends on duct size and cfm requirements, a 6" round (rigid pipe) is around 100cfm. If room needs 400 cfm information technology takes 4 registers. If the run is in flex it better be bigger than 6".

Vents are based on air menstruation requirements per expanse/room.
Merely air flow is based on heatload requirements.
Get a heat loss and heat gain calc first.Each homes are different. Each rooms are different. Do non compare a house or room that has the same foursquare feet!!
I actually don't have a formula and haven't formulated ane to effigy how many vents per size of area of room. I never needed to. I actually just do a oestrus load calc instead!

one under each window, ii under a 'picture' window.harvest rainwater,brand SHADE,R75/fifty/30= roof/wall/flooring, use HVAC mastic,caulk all wall seams!
